Malanotte Piave DOCG
A deep, imposing red. Raboso in its most noble form: appassimento, barrel, structure, and spice. Malanotte is the black diamond of the Piave.
Malanotte Piave DOCG is the symbolic wine of the Piave area, the maximum expression of the Raboso grape , native and tenacious, processed according to an ancient tradition that enhances its austerity, complexity and depth.
Its name derives from an ancient village near the company, and represents the highest oenological excellence of Raboso vinified with drying and aging in wood.
To the eye it presents an intense red colour with garnet reflections , while on the nose it opens with deep notes of morello cherry, blackberry and plum , accompanied by elegant spicy hints .
On the palate it is full, structured and important , with decisive tannins but harmonised by the three-year maturation in oak .
Serve at 18-20Β°C in a large glass . It pairs perfectly with red meats, game, mature cheeses and important dishes .
