Franconia Trevenezie IGT is a smooth and fragrant red wine made from grapes grown in the company's vineyards in Pradamano (UD) . The soil, rich in iron and limestone, gives the wine structure and character. Vinification takes place in Ganimede method vats, which allow for gentle extraction, preserving the integrity and aromas.
It has an intense ruby red color with fuchsia highlights . The aroma is broad and fragrant , with notes of black cherries and violets . On the palate it is soft, velvety and enveloping , with good roundness.
It pairs perfectly with autumn dishes, game, venison and cheese-based dishes, such as the typical Friulian frico .
Serve at 14–16°C.
The grapes are harvested atmid-September. Must and skins ferment for8–10 days at 28°Cin 300 HL steel tanks withGanimede winemakers, technology that allowsa gentle fermentation, without breaking the seeds and skins.
The wine then comesrefined for several months in concrete tanks, obtaining a soft and typical profile.
